Dear Friends:

East Side House is pleased to share that we are undergoing an exciting period of growth, bringing services to more students and families than ever before. This year, we will reach nearly 3,000 students a day from our 24 program sites- a significant expansion from last year's 2,300 students served at 18 sites.

Included in the list of expanding programs, this summer we hosted a new summer literacy camp as part of the ReadNYC initiative. The camp engaged over 90 students and their families, helping 95% of students increase their reading level and enter the school year on track for success.

As Fall nears, please be mindful that the Winter Antiques Show approaches as well. This year's Opening Night will take place on January 22, 2015 and the Young Collectors Night will be hosted on January 29, 2015. I hope to see you all there, and as always, thank you for your continued support!

Executive Director
Sincerely,

John A. Sanchez
