Dear Colleague,

My name is John Ventura and I am the Program Coordinator for the College

Preparation & Leadership Program at East Side House Settlement. I am sure you are aware of how important it is for our youth to receive a quality education and it is equally important that they receive the same support in identifying their future career goals. Therefore, I am writing to invite you to participate in our second annual Career Exploration Night, scheduled for Thursday, March 16th from 6-8pm. The Career Exploration Night is an opportunity for adolescents to meet professionals in the area of their interest and will be hosted by Mott Haven Village Preparatory High School located within the South Bronx High School Campus. I am confident that our collaboration will not only expose students to a variety of career fields but it will also give us the opportunity to build a sustainable relationship with you and your agency for potential internships in the future.

I have attached all of the information for the Career Exploration Night along with brief

questionnaire (for you to return), logistics and a presenter recommendation sheet. I will be contacting you prior to the event to confirm your interest and to answer any of your questions or concerns. However, if in the event you decide that you or someone from your organization will not be attending, please
