Preparation & Leadership Program at East Side House Settlement. I am sure you are aware of how important it is for our youth to receive a quality education and it is equally important that they receive the same support in identifying their future career goals. Therefore, I am writing to invite you to participate in our second annual Career Exploration Night, scheduled for Thursday, March 16th from 6-8pm. The Career Exploration Night is an opportunity for adolescents to meet professionals in the area of their interest and will be hosted by Mott Haven Village Preparatory High School located within the South Bronx High School Campus. I am confident that our collaboration will not only expose students to a variety of career fields but it will also give us the opportunity to build a sustainable relationship with you and your agency for potential internships in the future.

Career Exploration Night Logistics
- All guests should schedule to spend at least one hour with students. Guests will receive complimentary gifts and dinner for their participation.
The Career Exploration Night will be hosted by Mott Haven Village Preparatory High School (MHVP), within the South Bronx High School Campus located at: 701 St. Ann’s Avenue Bronx, NY 10455 (between Westchester Avenue & 156th Street)
Public Transportation Take the #5 or #2 train to 149th Street & 3rd Avenue then walk three blocks north and make a left on St. Ann’s Avenue. The School is located on the left hand side.
Driving Directions to South Bronx HS Campus From the George Washington Bridge Note: UPPER LEVEL- STAY IN THE RIGHT LANE
LOWER LEVEL –STAY IN MIDDLE LANE
1. Take the Harlem River Drive (stay in right lane) 2. Get off at first EXIT- 155th Street. Go to first traffic light. 3. Make a left turn. 4. Go over the 155th Street Bridge and make a right down ramp parallel to (yankee Stadium) 5. Take 161st street to the end 6. Make a right turn onto Third Avenue and continue to 156th Street 7. Make a left turn onto 156th Street 8. Make a right turn onto St. Ann’s Avenue. South Bronx Campus will be on the right side in the middle of the block.
From Manhattan
1. Take the FDR North to Willis Avenue Bridge 2. Follow signs to 138th Street 3. Take 138th Street to St. Ann’s Avenue- Make left onto St. Ann’s Avenue. 4. Proceed to school. You will pass Westchester Avenue (elevated train) 5. School is located in the middle of the block on the left hand side.
From Long Island, Queens & Connecticut From the Throggs Neck Bridge 1. Bear left towards signs to G. Washington Bridge 2. Then follow signs to Triboro Bridge and Bruckner Expressway 3. Take Bruckner Expressway to 138th Street exit 4. Proceed a few lights to 138th Street and make a right turn 5. Proceed a few lights to Saint Ann’s Avenue and make a right turn 6. Proceed about ½ mile until you pass beneath the elevated train on Westchester Avenue. 7. School is on your left hand side. From the Whitestone Bridge 1. Follow signs to Bruckner Expressway 2. Continue as mentioned from #3 of the Throggs Neck Bridge directions
