Title: Alumni Support Coordinator
Program: College Preparation and Leadership Program
Location: Mott Haven Village Preparatory High School 701 St. Anns Avenue, Bronx, New York
Program Description
East Side House created the College Preparation and Leadership Program (CPLP) to augment the opportunities offered by Mott Haven Village Preparatory High School. CPLP runs regular classes on college and career readiness during the school day and after-school for students in 9th-12th-grade. In addition, CPLP prepares students for post-secondary success by organizing college trips, leading after-school programming, helping students navigate the admissions process and supporting alumni through college.

In the fall, matriculation and persistence is the overriding focus of this position; in the spring, this position will likely lead a weekly 12th-grade class to prepare for transitioning after graduation. This position also coordinates several events throughout the year to bring alumni together and engage with current students.
