Bronx Haven High School

Bronx Haven High School is a partnership between the New York City Department of Education (DOE), New Visions for Public Schools, and East Side House Settlement (ESHS). The school is designed to serve students who are between the ages of 16 and 21, have been enrolled in a New York City public high school for at least one year and are overage and under-credited for their grade level.

At Bronx Haven we are committed to the development of the whole student and believe that in order to facilitate the academic success of our young people, we must address both their social –emotional and intellectual needs. Our goal is to have all graduates be literate in the areas of Reading, Writing, Speaking and Technology as well as to develop the 21st Century skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, leadership and collaboration, in order to effectively engage in the post secondary world of higher education and work.

Grade Levels: 9-12
