Under the supervision of the Chief Fiscal Officer , East Side House Settlement, a Bronx based not-for-profit agency,seeks a Human Resource Director. The director will collaborate with the Executive staff to develop and implement human resources policies & programs, including:

  • training, performance management
  • compensation & benefits, employee relations,
  • employment practices and procedures
  • the director must understand the HR implications of agency goals and proactively develop, recommend and implement HR strategic and tactical plans.
  • he/she will support agency services and line management of employees.
  • the director will manage the implementation of HR policies, programs and procedures



Education and Skill Requirements

*Requires a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

  • A master's degree and 3-5 exp is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ADP PayXpert a plus
  • At least 5-7 years experience in the field.
  • Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Must be a team player and have the ability to adapt to a changing environment.



Salary: Will Commensurate with Experience.
