Title: Payroll Administrator

Program: Administration



The Payroll Administrator is responsible for maintaining payroll records and processing a bi-weekly payroll for the organization. This position is in Human Resources and works closely with the Finance Department. The Payroll Administrator routinely handles confidential, sensitive information. Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

•Collects timesheets and verifies accuracy of time recorded. Contacts supervisors/employees as necessary.
•Inputs hours worked, changes to deductions and staff status changes.

•Reviews payroll with Controller
•Submits payroll to payroll provider as scheduled
•Reviews payroll reports and checks prior to distribution
•Reviews and distributes W-2s
•Maintains hardcopy files of payroll-related documents such as W-4s, pre-tax authorizations, time sheets, etc.
•Special projects and additional tasks as requested.


Qualifications and Requirements:

•Associates degree in Accounting or high school graduate with related accounting experience
•Three years of payroll processing for a comparably sized organization
•Ability to handle confidential information with discretion


Work Schedule:

*Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
