Community-Based Programs

East Side House’s community-based programs use the community center as an environment conducive to social, educational, cultural and emotional growth as an individual goes through the developmental stages from childhood to adolescence.

Offered in partnering community centers after school, the program provides structured activities and events geared toward character development and educational achievement, including homework assistance; tutorial services in math, reading, computer literacy and science; organized games; arts and crafts; trips; team sports; seasonal holiday parties; and drug, crime and violence prevention activities.
