STEM-based learning “hatches” at Children’s Pride

This week, preschool students in Ms. Heather’s Room 3 at Children’s Pride had an early lesson in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) based learning!  Check out what hatched this week.

Right on schedule, 12 chicks hatched Monday July 10th and the children were there to witness all the excitement. This hands-on lesson helps children understand growth and development, appreciate the use of technology in agriculture (with the use of an incubator) and most importantly, develop a sense of respect for nature and living things.  Great job, Children’s Pride!
