Winter Antiques Show Recap

In January, the Winter Antiques Show celebrated its 63rd year as America’s leading art, antiques and design fair. Held at the Park Avenue Armory, the Show offered an impressive display of fine and decorative arts from around the world, welcoming approximately 20,000 visitors over ten days. The 2017 loan exhibition featured the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museum, one of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg.

As always, net proceeds from all ticket sales benefited East Side House, and students from East Side House programs went on special tours of the Show Floor and acted as greeters at the Show’s Opening Night Party. At the Show’s annual meeting of exhibitors, East Side House graduates gave moving accounts of the organization’s impact on their lives before a crowd of 70 art dealers, including 19 international dealers.

The 64th annual Winter Antiques Show will be held January 19-28, 2018 at the Park Avenue Armory, New York City. The Opening Night Party will be on Thursday, January 18; the popular Young Collectors Night, Thursday, January 25. Tickets will be available for purchase from June 2017.
