Herbert H. Lehman High School Celebrates Black History Month
ESH proudly celebrated Black History Month! Students and staff at Herbert H. Lehman High School ...
Created the Harvest to Haven program. We are purchasing surplus crops from farmers and distributing them to families in need. To date, over 960,000 pounds of food has been packaged and distributed and we have fed over 185,000 people.
Kept the learning alive! We distributed at-home learning kits complete with multicultural books and STEM activities. We have also distributed over 700 tablets and hot spots to students and families in an effort to mitigate the digital divide and keep students learning remotely.
Conducting friendly remote check-ins with students and families and senior citizens to fight against feelings of isolation, and to assess needs as they develop.
Thank you to all of our supporters!
This year, The Winter Show will look a little different.
Out of respect for the safety of all of our partners, we’re moving the world’s leading art, antiques, and design fair online.
We welcome you to visit thewintershow.org for additional information and updates.
As a trusted community resource, East Side House offers a continuum of programs to residents of the Bronx and Northern Manhattan,
ranging from early childhood programs to programs for senior citizens. Check out our programs and services for the whole family!
In communities where poverty is predicted to stunt achievement, East Side House’s service model consistently produces results that eclipse city, state, and national performances.
Our work continues to provide opportunities for some of NYC’s most vulnerable people.
