The Work We Do Creates Impact

The communities we serve are among the most vulnerable in the country and are home to some of the most dire statistics relating to educational attainment, employment, literacy rates, and attendance rates.

We’ve discovered that giving back, making a difference, and coming together to acknowledge success is contagious. Our community does not stop at just good enough.

East Side House graduates 1,100 students from its high school and equivalency programs each year

East Side House placed 300 people in jobs each year.

East Side House served 14,000 of New York City’s most vulnerable people each year.

95% of graduates go on to college or other post-secondary institution.

96% of early childhood student exceed New York State standards.

East Side House provides 350 adults with tax services each year, keeping $570,000 in the community.

East Side House is a very major program in our school, that most students depend on. East Side House literally changed my life.
