At the Mitchel Community Center Annual Turkey Giveaway, we had a special guest appearance by Brooklyn Nets player, Kyrie Irving, and rapper, Common. They helped our community center staff hand out 200 Thanksgiving Feast Bags, containing turkeys and food items to make Thanksgiving sides provided by FreshDirect. The event was also attended by other notable community members such as City Council Members Diana Ayala and Vanessa Gibson.
We’re so appreciative of everyone who came for their desire to give back to ESH and the Mott Haven community by donating their time.
